In the CAOGA office in Parkgate, Dublin we have as Secretary/Treasurer of the society Comdt. JIM HUNT who arrived in the office on 01 May 2009.
Also there is Ms JUDY FARRELL who is employed by the society as a full time secretary. Judy has been with the society for the past 16 years and has gathered much corporate experience over that time. Judy is the first point of contact and is only too willing to give you any assistance that you may require when you call.

We note today that most Officers having joined the society as Cadets thereafter put CAOGA to the back of their minds –
Life (or death) is not as simple as that and as members of the society we should take stock from time to time to see if we have adequate cover for all members of the family. Once our personal circumstances within the family change which could be brought about due to marriage, separation or divorce that may cause life cover to change also.

Nomination forms and Wills may also require amending to reflect the changing circumstances of the family in today’s society. Leave of absence or retirement is another circumstance in which a phone call to the CAOGA office would be well worthwhile.
You can check that you have adequate cover by comparing the back of your salary slip with the sums of cover listed on this web site and if there is a discrepancy then perhaps you are not paying sufficiently to cover your spouse. Therefore continual contact with the CAOGA office is strongly recommended and advisable.
